Paper Format and Template

Prospective authors are requested to submit full length paper no longer than six (6) pages. Additional charges will be levied for each additional page and must not exceed eight (8) pages. Page limit is inclusive of references. The paper must clearly state the objectives of the work, its significance in the advancement of scientific and technical knowledge. Please use the standard IEEE latex or word templates. Link for the same is give below.

  • Word Template: ⦁US letter | ⦁ A4
  • Papers not adhering to one of the above templates, will be desk rejected.

Review Process

IEEE-KIT-23 will follow the double-blind review process. Please do not include authors details during submission for review. Do not include acknowledgement during submission for review. Avoid other measures such us citing your own paper(s) in a manner which gives out authors identity or posting on pre-print servers such as arxiv. However, if your submitted version or related version is already posted on pre-print servers such as arxiv, it will not impact review decision process. Upon acceptance, you can include authors details, acknowledgement etc. for Camera Ready Submission.

Papers will undergo plagiarism check excluding references and quotes. If substantial overlap is found, papers will be rejected outright.

Accepted papers need to be presented for further submission for consideration to include in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

General Instructions to Authors of Accepted Papers of IEEE –ICSTEM 24

For Authors

  • At least one of the authors of every accepted paper must register for the conference as author and present the paper in order for it to be included in the conference proceedings of ICSTEM24, and subsequent submission to IEEE Xplore® digital library.
  • If more than one author of an accepted paper wishes to attend the conference, all such authors need to be registered separately by paying applicable registration fee.
  • Each author registration covers up to two accepted papers.
  • Additional authors (other than those who are included in the manuscript submitted for review) cannot be added to the camera-ready paper.
  • Non-refundable registration fee must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, Camera-ready version of the paper and e-copyright form.

  • All participants need to be registered to attend the IEEE-ICSTEM-KIT by paying the requisite registration fees.
  • The registration fees include the conference kit, access/admission to tutorials & technical sessions, lunch on all conference days, morning and evening refreshments, banquet dinner, access/admission to cultural events as part of the conference.
  • Please note that the fees shown above are inclusive of all taxes and levies. Any gateway charges along with applicable taxes or levies, if any, will have to be borne by the registrant.
  • IEEE members are requested to upload IEEE membership details during the online registration process, if registering under IEEE category.
  • Students are requested to upload valid student ID card (front and back side) during the online registration process, if registering under that student category.
  • Please keep a copy of the transaction ID, generated by the payment gateway as well as by your bank. You may need these later if you need to track your payment/registration.
  • All correspondence regarding registration for IEEE-ICSTEM-KIT should contain Paper ID as well as registration confirmation number.
  • Please note that IEEE-ICSTEM-KIT, or the organizing institute (KIT), represented by the Organizing Committee as well as the IEEE India Council or IEEE Madras Sub-Section, will not be responsible for any loss, financial or otherwise, caused by improper transactions conducted online. While organizers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe online transaction, it is the registrant’s responsibility, while paying the registration fee, to secure their user IDs, passwords, Paper ID, etc.
  • Student authors those who wish to apply for fellowship may do it separately and the organizing committee will decide on such cases as per policy norms. Link for this will be provided after the last date of submission of camera ready version of the paper.

No Show Policy

Any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to have at least one author attend and present the paper at the conference. Non-presented paper will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore® digital library as per IEEE no-show policy.

No, the conference will be held in physical mode only.

Each author registration covers upto two accepted papers. However, for more than two papers you need to make additional registrations.

Yes. Registered author can transfer his registration to co-author, who should be a registered participant (student/delegate/author). Registered author should provide transfer request in email on or before [Date] . More details visit the Transfer Policy in the registration page.

No. It's not possible to add or remove names to author list.

At least one author of an accepted paper should register as author. For authors with IEEE membership, registration fee is INR 4000 and for Non IEEE members it is 5000. Registration fee details can be found in conference webpage.

Yes, Kindly visit Campus Accommodation.

There will not be any travel grants for attending the conference.

No, however you can pay through UPI or Net banking facility.

No the registration fees will NOT be refunded.

All registered participants are eligible to get registration kits. Lunch on conference days and banquet will also be provide for them.
